Uta Pippig Brings Yoga to Berlin
Uta Wraps Up the 2005 Racing Season and is Scheduled to Participate in Anusara Yoga Workshop. Three-time Boston Marathon Champion Uta Pippig on Sunday completed her 2005 running season with a second consecutive win in the Master category of the Arturo Barrios 5K in San Diego, CA. Uta handily won in her category, and placed second in the People’s Race, closing her first season in the Master category as a champion. “I am thrilled to complete my running season with a win in San Diego,” said Uta. “Competing in the Master category has been a challenge, but hard work and the support of my fans has led to success.” Uta has been one of the premier athletes in the sport throughout her running career—winning three consecutive Boston Marathons, three Berlin Marathons, a New York City Marathon and participating in two Olympic Games. When Uta is not training, she is focused on sharing her knowledge of proper nutrition, yoga, exercise, training and stress management through her Take the Magic Step™ program.
This multi-tiered approach to healthy living is targeted towards small groups of individuals and corporate groups, and has helped many people find balance in their lives. She will be sharing her knowledge of yoga at John Friend’s Anusara Yoga Weekend Workshop in Berlin, Germany, on October 28-30, at the Villa Elisabeth, located in Mitte, a fashionable district in the heart of Berlin. “John Friend invites us to share his teachings as he travels across Europe, spreading the art of Anusara Yoga. The Universal Principles of Alignment TM are applicable for everyone, as each individual’s uniqueness is honored. It is the master design for the body’s potential for optimum alignment, energy and health,” said Uta Pippig. “I have no doubt that the yoga kula in Berlin will be empowered.” Anusara Yoga is one of the most popular and fastest growing yoga styles in the world with over 1,200 affiliated teachers and 100,000 students world-wide.
