42nd Bellin Run — Uta Joins in the Run and Fun in Green Bay

Over the years the 10K Bellin Run has grown into a three-day celebration of health and fitness enjoyed by walkers, runners, children and wheelchair competitors. Uta looks forward to returning to Green Bay for the 22nd time at the invitation of her sponsor, Krueger International.

Green Bay, with its beautiful spring weather, will once again have Uta joined by some of the most famous names in the sport, including Meb Keflezighi, Bill Rodgers, Joan Samuelson, Risper Gesabwa, and defending champion Kaitlyn Gregg Goodman.

Uta’s Appearances in Green Bay:

• On Thursday, June 7, Uta will visit the headquarters of her sponsor Krueger International. She will share a few race tips and light stretching exercises before a luncheon. Later she will join the two-mile Bellin Charity Fun Run, scheduled from 5:30-6:30 pm.
• On Friday, June 8, Astor Park at 5:00 pm Triumph Mile, a one-mile walk/run for individuals with mild disabilities. 6:00 pm start of the Children’s Run, also in Astor Park. Uta will be available to say hello to old and new friends and to sign autographs, along with other elite runners.
• On Race Day, June 9, Uta will be at the starting line on Webster Avenue, in front of the Bellin Hospital, for the 7:53 am start of the 10K Wheelchair Division and the 8:00 am start for the other athletes. She can’t wait to run with everyone, and afterwards enjoy the finish line festivities and the Awards Ceremony at 10:45 am in nearby Astor Park.
