Uta will be running the B.A.A. 5K and celebrating the 130th Boston Marathon

30 years ago… Uta won the 100th edition of the Boston Marathon. Now, she is back for marathon weekend participating in the 5K, April 18th, on the magnificent course that winds through downtown Boston with the same finish line that two days later will be the target goal for thousands of marathon participants. She also can’t wait to cheer on her friends running in the 130th marathon on Marathon Monday.

Uta is celebrating running and friendship and some memories of her win of the marathon 30 years ago. And will make sure to join the crowds in cheering for the runners along the Marathon course. A walk on Newbury Street while enjoying the kids’ and youth’ races and the beautiful colors of the cherry blossoms will be highlights of her stay as well.
