Chris Basher is the founder of the London Marathon in 1981. Since then the race is one of the major events of London , which attracts more then 1 million audiences every year.
New York City Marathon
Since the first New York Marathon in 1970, the event grew up to meanwhile 37.000 runners every year. Compared to the most other races, the New York Marathon is not a round circuit.
